their argument is that drake fans are sheep that march to UMG's beat. so UMG will kill his popularity for the negotiation period (basically tell them drake is lame right now so fukk him) and then increase his popularity once they have him signed (you can like him again). all they have to do is flip a switch because his popularity isn't organic, it's manufactured. right? that's the only way this line of thinking makes any sense.Right, but in doing so they would have destroyed, or done irreparable damage to, his career - meaning they would make vastly less money off him under the new contract… you see that, right? What company in their right mind would purposely devalue the worth of their most successful product? It makes no sense.
Nikka that's worseThe official release of this through UMG was on 4/19
He was reacting to the leaked version
He thinks he got one though![]()
I've never seen people make excuses for a rapper like this and it started super early: people excusing him for using his phone during the Funk Flex freestyle. We then got years of rappers doing the same shyt during freestyles, including some underground dudes yall love. Then he got excused for ghost writers and stealing songs. Then he got excused for losing a rap battle to Pusha because "it didn't hurt his career." Then his fans spent most of 2024 using the same argument only for Drake to torpedo that by filing a lawsuit confirming his career was hurt...only for the stans to move the goal posts again and turn him into Rosa Parks or some hero fighting for the fights of the common man.

It's a parasocial relationship. Most stans of celebrities have a strong one-sided connection with them. They probably see Drake as a family member and when you look at it through that lens their behavior makes perfect senseHas to be some sort of Stockholm Syndrome or something to explain why Aubrey's Angels are are still riding for Drayoncé when he brought everything on himself by being an arrogant diva jackass.
When has having a legitimate claim ever stopped Aubrey from engaging in hoe activity?@No1
If Kendrick performs NLU at the Superbowl, does Drake have a legitimate claim to sue the NFL???![]()
Ain’t no way Kendrick is saying “pedo or I head you like em young” at the superbowl. Maybe the crowd but not Kendrick lol.
Also with this lawsuit, Drake is def trying to scare the nfl into not playing this song at the superbowl. I’m sure drake’s lawyers already reached out to the nfl claiming to add them to the lawsuit if they decided to play this song infront of over 100 million viewers since it aligns with the lawsuit claims.
Am I tripping or was this tweet stolen word for word, from the coli?
