nikkas in here acting like Kendrick was some b tier artist before the beef is laughable.

Honestly, this is what it all boils down to. We live in a world right now where people can create their own reality and make arguments based upon the fairytale they live in. In Drake and his fans mind, there was no way Kendrick could've or should've won that battle, purely based on the fact that Drake was the "more popular" artist. That's why you get false statements like "family matters was the more quotable/best song" and shyt like this lawsuit, because of the rude awakening Kendrick gave them.

He was never a slouch and was always the superior artist, but now somehow Kendrick wasn't able to do this based on his own merit...? This shyt is extremely corny and I'm glad there's still real fans of the genre to call this shyt out.

Well I said nothing out of the ordinary happened with Not Like Us. I'm talking about the battle in general. Lol
oh I’m agreeing that songs were botted. I don’t think any song that’s on hot 100 isn’t botted. Hell, there’s very little on the internet that doesn’t involve bots if you’re familiar with the dead internet theory. shyt, look at Nap on here. They aren’t boosting not like us in a master plan to devalue Drake, though.

This whole "Drake was trying to renegotiate his contract and UMG sabotaged him via Kendrick Lamar" is one of the dumbest takes I've seen in my time on the internet.

Drake could've....gee, I dunno....NOT ENGAGED KENDRICK AT ALL?!

Then what?

I don't know if you cats are stanning so hard your brain turns off, or maybe you're just legitimately dumb completely independent of defending Drake. The only way UMG can take advantage of Drake vs Kendrick, is if Drake drops "Push Ups". Not only drops "Push Ups", literally begs Kendrick to respond to it.

How would this have played out, if Drake ignored "Like That"? How would it have played out, if he just took some time off instead of flooding the market with completely forgettable loosies, Sexy Redd collabos, and "parody" tracks like that Delilah sh*t?

About 20 things had to have fallen into place, for Drake to be in a vulnerable enough spot, for UMG to even be able to "manipulate" streams and damage him.

At what point do you stop blaming UMG, and start looking in the mirror as to how you ended up where you are?

Fred.

Not Like Us being Kendrick's Nice For What or Life Is Good is funny

just seen someone retweet a claim that Drake turned down a megabucks deal to perform in Israel from Lucien
as he should, but its not even been 24 hours and we're already on this type of conspiracy wave lmao

Lack of accountability is a constant theme with Drake and his fans. Everything is everybody else's fault, there's no such thing as introspection.

On top of that, this weird angle implies Drake's deal is based on streams. So why would UMG leverage the negotiations on a factor they or anyone else can manipulate?
