I’ve heard enough. After the car test this is the album of the summer, great work
The reversal incoming from people bashing it right now is going to be hilarious :dead:
Only thing that ticks me off is that its not in dolby atmos so I can enjoy it more in my airpod max and homepods
Like 40 doesn't fukk with spatial audio like what's going on

I wouldn't be suprised if it doesn't do big numbers tbh
All that I know if it makes less or at the same level then Kendrick's album Stan wars are going to be popping off more :banderas:

This album will do incredibly well internationally. There is only two records on here i hate. Currents and Down Hill. I Removed those two and the album flows beautifully.

This album is a shock to the current eco system. Far from ground breaking or innovative. But a change of pace from the redundancy of what we consider major hip hop artists. I respect that.

Its not an album for the “culture” its an album from someone that has experienced culture other than their own.

Far from his best and not what anyone was expecting. But once you get past that its vibes on here if you have lived a little.

Nah not Amapiano but moreso soulful/deephouse. Black Coffee produced the first two tracks and he’s a big SA house DJ.

Yep, this is exactly what I think he’a going for with this album. I listen to a lot of House and some of the biggest tracks are the vocal remixes. Drake gave DJs the spark for them to run with. I expect we’ll get a big remix for Falling Back and Texts Go Green by the end of summer.

A Keeper goes tho.
I think he sums up how I feel not only about Drake but music in general these days.

What about the people who want to move their bodies to something the actually sounds good? A lot of latter career Drake albums are either him making the derivatives to his own music that was better, or making the downgraded versions of other peoples style. People need to stop making physics equation excuses for him

1. What is internationally?
2. He's from another country, making the US international for him.
3. He's been an international superstar for like 13 years, didn't all of his latest album chart at #1 "internationally"?

:dahell:

Dudes like "OMG he has a producer from the other country in the world, International. He's catering to internationals".

Reppin
Handsome Boyz Ent
was the 3rd beat a Juice beat? didnt recognize it
1st was Playa fly sample, 2nd was Gangsta Blac’s Lifes a B (produced by Paul or Juice, granted that sample came from an older song but im sure Drake used it cause of the Memphis connection), third beat the sample slips my mind atm

Then this is what remixes are for.

Here’s the thing. Some the beats on here are pretty good from a house music stand point. But you can tell this is Drakes attempt at being ahead of the “curve” at ushering a new sounnd. The reason this album doesn’t work is because of Drake generic ass singing with his generic ass Melodies. Dude sounds so much better when rapping, but insecurities have him making music for chicks and gays solely :mjlol:

There were several beats on here where im like Drake should have rapped on this and expiermented with some new flows, but nope.

Flo Rida would have made a better album over this production :manny:
