I unfairly judged 'Honestly, Nevermind'
It's definitely not great, but it's not trash either... it's lazy, but it's good enough... maybe, but only because of the way dance music is consumed, but not on its own merit.
There's simply better dance music and we have heard it. I'm under the impression that Drake, and/or his team, believes we have only been trappin' & drillin' when in reality we have low key been wrapped up in Black Coffee's & Kaytranada's algorithm for years, which has led us to discover immaculate dance and house music.
'Honestly, Nevermind' is very just ok and I hope it bring popularity to dance and house music within Hip-Hop and R&B production; I want that culture shift, and Drake is the proper artist to do such, but this album isn't scratching the surface of the greatness of dance music... or Drake ability to create dance music.
Kelela 'Take Me A_Part, The Remixes' has plenty of references for good dance music.
