I only heard the first two songs and I instantly thought Amapiano. Is this a scene Drake wants to invade now?

Amapiano is slightly slower (about 4-5 bpm) than any of those first 5 tracks.


This album is somewhat stuck between early 90s house & late 2000's club (b-more) with a blatant house track in massive.

I'm laughing at how garbage this shyt actually is Like this shyt is hilariously bad No, having a few house tracks is nothing new or experimental either. Latch was a top 10 Billboard hit like 10 years ago. Goldlink put some hard verses to house beats that other artists peeped as well. This is worse than Rebirth in my opinion and I think it will mark a similar spot in his career as Rebirth was for Wayne. Anyone remember that track Believe Me when Drake was piping hot, but Wayne's name cooled the track down and they had to delay Carter IV and scrap the track because it flopped? Drake will definitely get to that point himself soon after this garbage ass album. He may have one big album left after a lot of dikkriding and waveriding. Also fukk Drake for not having any hip hop flavor whatsoever to the sound. Fraud ass nikka.

Rebirth was a great (good enough) album and a clear departure/experiment for Wayne.

If Drake had said "I'ma release a house album" he might actually be getting a pass for this sub mediocre project. He probably didn't have any features because nobody wanted to be on this shyt.

As a straight up househead that grew up on Jersey and Bmore Club, this might be top 5 Drake albums for me... It's not even cause the music is some of the best I've ever heard from him. This production is like Music Choice Easy Listening compared to what I bump on the daily. Like, a few of these songs legit sound like something they would play in the background on The Weather Channel BUT I respect the experimentation from an artist as mainstream as him and what's gonna come from him dropping an album like this. Really anything that gets more of our people interested in electronic music gets a nod from me. There are still some of us that think house was created by cacs and not a nikka on the southside of Chicago.

Too many out here think that shyt..... tried to appropriate it the way they appropriate everytbing else.......... there's a reason the music vibes wit our soul... .
