Crazy how good this was and even crazier how it became irrelevant 20 minutes after release

:wow:
That’s because haters and Kenny stans wasn’t trying to hear and dissect the lyrics they just wanted Kenny to respond… If Kenny would’ve said 3 words sick my dikk.. They would’ve said Kenny won.. That’s how fukkin irrational and unhinged they are while real fans of the genre can appreciate bars and dissect both artist songs with no agenda behind it..

For 3 weeks Kenny stans were in fukkin shambles that’s why they were getting clowned… Nobody was clowning Kenny because we all knew he would respond but to see Kenny stans losing their shyt was hilarious :mjlol:

This, Euphoria, Like That and Push Ups are the only songs I'll ever go back to consistently.
100%. Like That is my favourite but in terms of the head to head no Diddy, Family Matters is the best track. I just went back to this and Drake danced all over this shyt - I'm actually still in shock loool

I agree with the posters that said if he chopped this into three different tracks he would've faired better - shyt even if he just held the last verse and dropped it in response to MTG he'd still be in the fight lol

You know what I knew that statement would come back to haunt me without bringing up why this is all concerning part of all of this to me. Drake has a larger audience than Kendrick by a large stretch. Yet a lot of people are tuning out this song in favor of the other songs. Which is weird. How does the guy with the bigger audience worldwide and all of the resources to juice the system lose the streaming battle? How does the guy with the lesser audience out stream him? One can say yeah it’s the moment but then technically they should be equal. So this is the first and only time Drake and his team ain’t messing with the streams and encouraging memes and winning at the troll game. All of sudden Kendrick’s team knows how to use the same tactics as drake but we’re never able to pull off these numbers before despite seemingly knowing how. I feel there is definitely industry work because now the numbers definitely don’t make sense. Especially once you start looking at the YouTube numbers.

You’re acting like Kendrick Lamar is JID or somebody. Kendrick is one of the biggest selling rappers of the past 10 years. GKMC literally hasn’t left the charts since the DAY it was released. TPAB broke streaming records. Damn broke streaming records. Mr Morale broke streaming records. Kendrick has always been a force to be reckoned with whenever he comes outside. The beef of course escalated his notoriety but not to the point where its suspicious that he’d out stream Drake. They rarely release within the same window and the last time they did Mr Morale outsold Honestly Nevermind

Kendrick has not pulled off these numbers before. Even being as big as he is until now. Regardless of if he’s dissing Drake, there has been a significant uptick in Kendrick’s streams that is unprecedented with someone who has had significantly lowering streaming numbers compared to who he is competing with. Something is off with the numbers when the guy with the biggest audience in the world is not seeing an equivalent boost instead he’s seeing significantly less. Just going off Spotify alone, Drake got ~ 80 million monthly listeners and Kendrick got 65 million. Thats about a 15 million difference. How is it that during one of the biggest rap battles in our lifetime when everyone is paying attention and tapped in that the guy with the most monthly subscribers doesn’t even have his most up to date streaming diss song as his top listens during the biggest rap battle but the guy with the smaller audience does? Where did his fans go in a less than a week’s time? Look at the YouTube numbers as well. There’s been significant effort since like that to talk about streaming numbers when it comes to Kendrick. I’m saying something is off numbers wise or specific emphasis is being put on numbers that we are all overlooking and I think that contributes to a deeper look into this entire beef.

Whole beef weird I don't care what noone says. Noone can explain it away to me I'm not a child and I been around the block a few times. Everything surrounding this situation is something I've never seen before.

It's called Drake is always outside and Kendrick is not.
When he steps out its an event.

People haven't heard from him solo in 2 years coupled with him dissing the biggest rapper in the world, it's not hard to see why he is getting traction.
In the grand scheme of things this is just some more Drake records he is always putting out records.

I understand that. My point is why is Drake’s only subscribers/listeners not listening to his diss as much. It was technically his second response (Taylor Made removed) that came after Euphoria and 616. How is the next most highly anticipated track from Drake not doing numbers? We can say yeah Kendrick took the wind out of his sails with a follow up but that doesn’t negate the fact that a lot of people are still not paying attention to the track or listened at all especially for a guy with 85 million monthly subscribers.

Breh, a large portion of drake’s audience ain’t hip hop, as we’ve always said and known. random college white girls who love drake are not tuning into a rap battle, they are playing Taylor swift. Kendrick has hip hop fans, whether they black, white or Asian , they fukk with rap
