That's one of those lines that sounds dope until you realize damn near everyone is signed under multiple layers

If we want to play face value games Jay-Z, who's half these nikkas' blueprint, is in a 360 deal.

And Drake could get him back saying I'm signed to all these people and still have more money than you

This is so untrue you dudes think just cause drake is the most POPULAR right now that he has all theese accomplishments, when really he has a long way to go before he should be mentioned with some of the greats in rap.

Not that pusha t should be mentioned either but to this date pusha has sold more albums, done more shows, and is more respected worldwide than Drake. Both Drake and Wayne have gone on record saying the Clipse was a big influence to them but now Pusha T is a "lil nikka" :childplease:

once they become peers all that influence stuff goes out the window especially of they are throwing darts at you.

Pac & Big surpassed theirs and Nas & Jay did theirs.. Drake & Wayne wont surpass Nas or Jay but ones like (in Drakes instance) Budden, Phonte, Clipse he probably feels he has surpassed and is aiming for for that Jay/Kanye throne so to speak.

said that on stage during one of his concerts

If you add up worldwide sales of all clipse albums, compilations and singles. The clipse have sold more records. They have taken longer to do it but it is a true statement.

Pusha T is the better part of 40 years old, opening up shows in nightclubs for the likes of Future, has been flopping for years and bounced around from label to label, is currently like 4th or 5th highest ranking priority on some other rapper's label, and has spent at least the last half a decade crying about not really being acknowledge as an A-List star...in the context of talking about "contracts" and counting other rappers' pockets, he's very much a lil nikka compared to Drake...Drake done lapped dude 3 or 4 times in this rap game in a fraction of the time...if Drake had offered him a spot curtain jerking on the Club Paradise tour a couple months ago, Pusha'd be doing interviews calling Drake "Big Homie"

Just because drake FEELS like their peer it doesn't mean he is. He has really only been poppin for 3 years now. The only way to surpass those people is to actually do it and become one of the greats otherwise he is still in the same boat with the other rappers who got popular for a couple years and then disappeared.

When the clipse first started popin mixtape sales were not counted. If we are counting mixtape sale than plenty of people have multiple-platinum albums. And I said WORLDWIDE sales and influence, to this point drake still has a long way to go.

Just to clear things up:

Is that really a Drake diss? Who confirmed? What 3 nikkas? I don't care what anyone says, that doesn't seem like a Drake shot. It doesn't make sense.

Pusha has sold, what? 1.5m records in a dozen years of making music and has never once cried about money. Seems like he is straight financially. Don't remove the lines from the context of the song. It's about these rappers who put out an image of money, drugs & guns but when you break things down, like the contracts, the numbers don't stack up.

Michael Jordan is 50 and flabby dos that make him a "lil nikka" to Lebron? Not at all

Again just because drake is more popular NOW doesn't make anyone that came before him a "lil nikka" how do you know how much money drake or pusha t got. If you listen to real people who have been a part of the industry they will tell you NONE of theese artists are really makin any dough.

Really...a michael jordan analogy, for PUSHA T?...MJ, along with being 50 and flabby, is almost universally recognized as the GOAT basketball player and the highest level of sports royalty literally imaginable...that's Jay-Z or somebody

A more proper analogy would be Drake as Durant and Pusha T as Matt Barnes or maybe Stephan Jackson...or some other random veteran journeyman swing man that's never been considered an actual star in the league...their years on Durant notwithstanding, he's far and away eclipsed their standing in the league at any point of their career...

Not to totally diminish what pusha has done as a rapper...but the content of that song, if meant as a diss to drake...coming from HIM...is pretty plainly ridiculous...so much so that common sense would suggest that it's not
