I would be surprised to see this at all this year because of covid. He would miss millions in touring because of it. Darke got like 1 or 2 more albums before he will ultimately declines into stardome. This album is going to make or break him.
Think jay z- black album, Nas-hip hop is dead, 50 and kanye beef. lil wayne after the carter 3 and ludacris after release therapy.
Unfortunately drake in 20 years will be remembered as a talent-less hack, he has known ghost riders, no real singing or song writing talent, and not one classic song.( ok maybe 1 or 2 in the last 10 YEARS) He might be a billboard giant but that's it and dosent really say much besides people are buying in. He's a product of his time, rapping about Instagram models/petty relationships and was most popular in an era of carid b having the best rap album, kardashions, social media and trump.
I thought he was washed wen he released hot line blink, started from the bottom and goin home. I just never saw what other people see in him. Dude has almost no style, he raps and whines about relationships with prostitutes while in the same album rapping about how much he luves his mom. He's a corn ball who been rapping about the same thing since take care. (He made it, hes got haters and bodies, and his gf's wont call him back)
Outside of rap he has a kid with a pornstar and I cant name one gf he's had. I dont see him doing any business moves like jay nas, 50, luda or any other rappers who "Made it". Did i forget to mention he a tantless hack.
I've seen drake on degrassi to young money back in 2009 and I keep waiting for him to come with something classic. The closets he got was Take Care, but tarnished it with ever other album that tried to recreate that.
this albums will be another dud. best thing this guy could do is release this album and take a 5+ year hiatus.
