Just finished 80% of the album. I'd give it a 6.5/10 so far. Personal faves are as follows:

  • Way2Sexy
  • The 2nd half of N2Deep
  • IMY2
  • TSU
  • Race My Mind
Kats really need to fukking quit it with the 20+ song albums unless they have a cohesive theme that links each one to each other, or the subject matter of the songs are varied. At the same time though, Drake kind of did the former, but it's his usual shtick.

Everything is made with algorithms in mind. Artists are using tracks that are shorter and are packing more of them into an album to boost the streaming statistics. SMH. Unfortunately, that’s today’s music

Album is tough. I could do without a couple songs but I'm not going to write a dissertation about his 13 year career because of it. Yall need to find a hobby or redirect that negative energy to something productive. The album called Certified Lover Boy and people complaining that he's singing too much, can't make this shyt up lol.

Strippers, people in the industry gunning for me or underrating me, creepy R&B songs, the 3 stand out rappity rap tracks over the same type of production he’s been using for 8 albums.

all typical drake formula. He will never change this recipe cause it sells but I’m bored of it

Shoutout to Drake for putting the legendary Project Pat on his album.

Album isn't too bad so far...I think people's expectations for Drake albums be somewhere in outer space. The dude makes smooth-riding hip hop music that you could probably listen to with your shorty.

Also digging the continuation of the Jigga features

So many disingenuous ass arguments being made in here.

:skip: at expecting to hear growth from an artist that's in the double digit projects range.

:leostare:What does inspired Drake music sound like? What does Drake challenging himself sound like?

:beli:Drake is sticking to his formula. Why wouldn't he? Especially when creating an album. He has been wildly successful making music for his entire fanbase, why would he switch it up to only make music to appease to a certain subset of his base.

Thecoli houses some of the fakest hip-hop heads known to man. Y'all be sounding ridiculous asf. We know who Drake is and the music he is going to make. Not sure why anyone came into this project expecting to hear something different. That's on y'all.
It’s wild as hell that nikkas can sit here and proclaim drake as one of the greats and then say don’t expect growth/maturity when damn near every great in music has done those things. Including nikkas that came in the game with and after him .

:skip: These some wild ass arguments .
