Damn, as much as we joke about Drake on here. I normally like the majority of his albums. This is a mess. The second half is definitely stronger, but I think I liked Views more at first. Disc 1 of Scorpion shyts all over this. I'll spin it again this weekend but i enjoyed Donda a lot more as an album so far

This is one of the dumbest things i’ve ever read:gucci:

Of COURSE you expect an artist, ANY artist, to make inspired music. Thats literally their fukking JOB. Nas thirty years in the game making classic music. J.Cole & Kendrick been in as long as Drake and making inspired music. The best thing about this album is a damn Jay-Z verse and he’s FIFTY ONE.

There’s no reason for an artist with Drake’s resources to make bloated trash. He’s got the best producers. He’s got the best writers. With all of that if you can’t put together a decent project then hang it up

100%. The Off-Season was made by one of Drake's contemporaries, someone a year older than him, and it could very well be the best album they ever made. King's Disease II was made by a man turning 48 in two weeks, and it's one of the best albums of the year. Kendrick will be 34 when his next project comes out, and considering his track record, it could be another great album.

We're finally seeing rappers challenge aging and the idea that you can only make your best music when you're young and hungry. We've gotten a lot of great projects in the last couple years from older rappers. Hell, even Eminem proved a few years ago that he could make a solid album that's shorter, more focused, and consistent. What's Drake’s excuse?

There's nothing wrong with giving the people what they want.

Never said it was but you can't get for someone pointing that out.

I'm not saying to be some dumb-out experimental shyt like Kanye. But it makes it really difficult to keep someone's attention when this is your range. He just seems very limited in what he talks about.

Maybe it’s just me but I don’t really want Drake to switch up the production. Sure experiment with a couple songs here and there but…I came to Drake for this type of music lol

No one else in the rap game is making music with this type of production AND great rapping like Drake does. It fills a void that a lotta artists try to replicate but it just doesn’t sound as good
