Hov is arguable. Future is a hell no. Most people recognize like 5x more Drake tracks than Future ones. Future is nowhere near on Drake's level. I'm being generous, it's like 10x. Drake is arguably the most prolific music artist radio-wise, ever.
Drake’s music has been in the same mental place since around 2016-17. “Me and my best friends are rich as hell, I fukk 10/10 bytches but I’m sad knowing that they only love me cause I’m rich. But also fukk you cause I’m rich”Difference is Hov came from nothing, did the drug dealer thing, then music to various business (with Wifing Bey somewhere in there). He was also sneaky old most of his rap career. He has grown very introspective with age. And he's been a black man in America his whole life, which is a whole thing to itself.
Drake's life is different every way possible. Canadian, white jewish mom, child actor, seeded up a French heaux he wasn't even dating. Most of his life experiences are what came with going from some money to a ton of money. Don't nobody want to hear that tale. So hes just doing what he does best, making enjoyable music
While with the Hov/Nas even Kanye type growth, you get the maturity that comes along with getting married/divorced, having kids, picking up new passions, helping the community. Not to say that these factors mean better music but you’re pulling from a deeper well.
I really like this album and enjoyed the dance one but I don’t think he can make the full lyrical rap album people want cause it’ll be too redundant content-wise
