yeah, you use the dodge skill first (called formless feint). It slowly drains stamina, but during that time, u can auto-dodge ANY attack. This includes skills you use that would damage you, like the second skill (that fire explosion skill, called "Blades of the Pyre")

so basically, use formless feint, then spam the explosions for free damage

again, both of these are master skills for the thief vocation. u get them at the Nameless Villlage, east of Melve.

Yeah I got the skills. I never used them. Then I switched back to Spearhand

Spoiler: Spoilers on how to get to ‘post game’

there is another section of the game, a ‘post game’ section. After you fight the dragon the first time you’ll be in the banquet hall of the castle for your celebration, talk to the blue ghost dude and choose to go back in time to when you’re riding on the dragon’s back. you have crawl around to his chest to stab the dragon in the heart along with yourself to get to the real post game, which is about another 3 hours of quest lines

There’s no real way to tell you how to get to the next section of the game without spoiling some of it, read it at your own risk

Reminds me of Berserk series where the world is ending, all red, red cloud, etc.

I think it was easier even with the nerfed classes.
I think a lot of the ease came from already knowing how to fight these enemies since 95% of em were in the first and have the same weaknesses

I just fought a Chimera and in the first game at the beginning of the game it was a threat but it seemed like this version wasn’t jumping around casting spells a lot and I took it down with the greatest of ease word to Smug

Yeah a lot of the time I killed it before I could chop the snake tail off .


Only times I got stressed was early on at night and the first trip down to battahl.

The first game was easy as well it just hit you with boss type monster faster than this one did once you level up you you could roll over them also the thief is hands down the best melee class in the game.
