Its kinda mind boggling how smooth going back to DD1 is after playing 50 hours of this.

Definitely a noticeable difference in uglier graphics and more stiff animation, but the core DNA is damn near the exactly the same between 1 and 2. Really excited for this probably BBI type DLC expansion we hopefully get later on.

Magick Archer was actually ass in some regards compares to regular archer. Ricochet shot is op but only if your in a cave. I maxed out magick archer but fights against the griffin and golem were way longer than with my sniper aim and explosive shots with the regular archer. I switched back

Felt the same way about Warfarer. I went back to Mystic Spearhand after trying it out

Started a fresh game today since I haven’t played since it came out, I wasn’t far so it don’t matter. Running with the thief vocation and so far at level 11 this shyt is absolutely crack rocks I can’t put it down

I was in the cavern of the forsaken and ran into a blood thirsty ogre

The squad had to body that nikka on the spot we couldn’t escape

Just found an enemy I haven't seen before

I'm level 60 which is way over leveled but honestly they should have changed the EXP curve in these games. They encourage you to level every Vocation but there's no way you can do that and not be over leveled.

Then again Bitterblack Isle was way higher level than the rest of the 1st game so that kinda balanced things out. I think I was over leveled for Everfall in the first one, too.

In the Seafloor Shrine at night before post game. I was about late 40s when I ran into him, and thank goodness it was just him! We weren't doing much damage.

And yeah, I wish they did the leveling curve better in this. NG+is even worse I stopped after we pretty much OHKO the cyclops on the way to Vernworth
