unfortunately that pretty much is the end of the main game :francis:

You should fight the dragon though. In the aftermath you’ll be able to speak to the pathfinder/ghostly dude.
Speak to him a couple of times and you’ll get the option to change your choice. He sends you back in time to the start of the dragon fight.

This time, when you get to the heart of the dragon instead of striking the glowing heart area use the godsbane to access the post-game. There’s a bit more to do there, but main story wise you basically beat it.

Thats the end of the game unfortunately

but there’s the ‘unmoored world’, which is a post-game set of quest where you can still play and unlock stuff but it is timed.

Thanks brehs I appreciate the help.

I guess its unfortunate timing cause after watching the new Fallout show I been itching to replay the game. No way im doing a replay of this immediately my backlog is insane and I jumped into this because of this thread. Ill wrap this up and come back when the DLC drops on something

It's funny i was just where you were the other day.

had been putting off the giant titan fight just to explore the world but felt it was time to finish the campaign... ended up fighting the dragon twice bc i had no idea what i was supposed to do (was not paying attention to the plot at all). I finally googled and figured it out.

New game+ mode looks somewhat interesting but honestly i'm a bit tapped out with the game. Was a good run tho. I got about 90 hours in.

The gameplay is fun but I stand with what i said earlier that there would be greater replay value if you could use all the abilities for your chosen vocation (or at least double it to 8 slots... R1+ buttons and L1+ buttons), esp since many abilities are situational novelties that aren't worth taking the spot of the more essential abilities.

I'm towards the end of this game and as far as the complaints I'll say this.

The issue isn't enemy diversity, because there's a ton of different enemies.

The issue is a lot of enemies serve the same purpose. There's like 4-5 different harpies, for instance. Each with different appearance and behavior.

But while you're playing the game it's just "here's another flying enemy I have to kill". Same with goblins. "Here's another humanoid enemy I have to kill".

They could've kept the exact same variety of enemies but made them serve different purposes. Like, one that heals or one that....I dunno. I don't design games.

The first game side stepped this issue because by the time I played it the DLC was included in the PC version. So roughly half way through the game you could go to Bitterblack Isle which was a completely separate location with new enemies and game play.

This game (again, I haven't beaten it yet) as it stands is set up exactly like the first game, before the DLC. The Everfall was a cool idea but you mostly just fought the same enemies over and over.

EDIT:

Although now that I think about it, there was a Hydra and a big eye monster. So it seems the first game had more boss variety.

I feel like New Game + enemies should scale in difficulty
ABSOLUTELY. Not sure why they didn't do something so obvious

It’s kind of a lazy implementation, there’s like No point to doing it. By the time you get to it you’ve probably burnt yourself out fighting those enemies dozens of times already, its no different than just being at the end of the game

I wouldn’t even mind if they had just scaled up some of the regular enemies and made them into mini-bosses.

Like turn one of the wolves into a giant dire wolf or something. The flying enemies do have different status effects but by a certain point a lot of these enemies just feel like a nuisance, you don’t really change your strategy for them the further you get because you just get so OP anyway

Garm.

The point still stands though. Take the enemies you got and just increase the size, let them breathe fire.. etc.

There was a moment where i was getting ready to slightly shyt on elden ring (yikes) in favor of this games exploration and combat and then they stopped introducing new stuff early on. Elden Ring actually spoiled me in terms of enemy variety and map diversity

I've reached the endgame but luckily I had an inn save to go back to so I can explore just a little bit more :whew:

Very interesting game, I'll give my final thoughts once I finish this playthrough

Yeah I don't know about this.:patrice::hubie: For one, the fps got this shyt playing like a ps4 launch game.

The combat seems like ass. Sloppy mechanics and you can't lock on. Ive played Demon Souls, Ghost of Tsushima, and a little Elden Ring. Even Witcher 3 combat, which people trashed, is better than this

I don't understand the story at all. There's too much to learn. But I could get over those things if the actual mechanics were good.

The UI should've been dynamic. I have trouble not staring at the minimap.

The dialogue sucks and its almost like you need captions on.

I might be trading this in for Stellar Blade, a game that's play like a PS5 game. :hubie:
