That's the point there are even stronger forces out there and now the only way to continue, is to create new powerups out of toriyama's ass. It's like he climbed so far up the power scaling totem poll it's impossible to have good writing going forward. What purpose does SSJ levels 1-3 serve now if we have God form ? You can't be a villian worth episodes in a series unless you are threat and danger, and that's only possible if you are stronger than the strongest form. It's like Toriyama didn't realize the corner he was placing himself in when he started relying on powerups for everything.

Yeah, this is the main reason why I'm not feeling any new dbz. I mean once upon a time ssj2 was wow status...and then became completely useless by the next saga

After a while you just get exhausted by the constant power-ups and powerful villains.

This is one of those rare scenarios where ill actually need the dub. I spent my entire child hood watching dbz in English so I'm not tryna hear that in Japanese.

Everything else subs are preferred but not for this.

This is the reason why Cowboy Bebop as an anime >>>> Dragonball. Spike Spiegel didn't need 4,000 episodes and 400 spinoffs to make his statement as GOAT. He did it in 26 episodes and a movie.

Idk if I want to agree that Cowboy Bebop is better then DBZ but I will agree that they accomplished alot with only a few episodes. I feel as if the creators are true artist for being able to say SO much with so few episodes.

I hope everything that has happened in these new movies are scrapped like they never happened and they just continue where they left off after the Buu saga. Focus on fusions and the kids, Uub, etc. Basically give someone else some shine. And what of Gohan?

I admit I don't have a lot of faith in Toryiama after that Battle of the Gods movie. Will there be a manga?

It had better writing and characters like Master Roshi, Tien, and even Yamcha and Krillin getting shine. Only thing I didn't like about Dragon Ball was Emperor Pilaf's corny ass. Great balance between comedy and drama and it was more about martial arts and skill rather than power levels and how long you can take a shyt

My concern is the power levels have went through such a massive change since we saw raditz with a 1,500 PL to now having people with Levels in the 500 million and higher range how do you create new threats with legit tension. Clearly the creator just creates a new transformation to overcome a new villian and that tactic is just not sustainable.

Cell saga created SSJ2
Buu- saga created SSJ3 , Vegito
GT Sagas- created SSJ4, SSJ4 Gogeta
Battle of the Gods created Sayian GOD
Revival F - created super sayian God form.

So how Do I introduce a new villian strong enough that he can take on 5 super sayians and z warriors at the same time without having a new fusion or supersayian level needed to defeat him.

Vegeta took at shot at the writers in the Cell Saga when he said:

"Every time I reach a new level of strength, a greater power appears to challenge my authority..."

Yep, that pretty much sums the DBZ plot device. Thats why that whole "Strongest In The Universe" was unnecessary hyperbole
