Please correct me if I'm wrong. I'm just catching up so bare with me.
This series takes place between the death of Kid Buu and the final tournament? (Goku v Ubb)
If so, could Goku potentially very well be a "God of Destruction" in the pic above?
Goten and Trunks seem to be in their teens at that point. Since DBS is kind of a midquel, how much of a time gap would it have to fill?

I think the reason they're doing all this multiverse shyt and time travel is that they're going to erase the GT time line.
it doesnt diminish them...they've been doing blue for a while now, so it was only a matter of time before they started treating blue like reg ss....which is cool, cause it shows they getting stronger, that they will be fighting stronger people, and that a new level/transformation is coming...which is what a lot of people watching want...

- lol at people really wanting to blame goku/turn him into the villain...how sway?....yall just gonna completely ignore the grand priest saying the zenos were already gonna erase all but 4 unis anyway?....but cause of goku and the tourney, they gonna give one of the lower unis a chance to survive....that's hero shyt....
- shows yall just want the man to be a villain...kinda like the other unis...they completely ignored that info too while eating up that bullshyt from bergamo lol...what makes it even more funny is that they even had whis & beerus point it out, just to make the point of what people would do, just like yall in here lol.....also, yall, like the other unis, completely ignoring the zenos were gonna erase goku/uni 7 right then if he didnt go all out aka win...'but he shouldve shown his power, just not beat dude'...lol how sway?...uni 9 are scrubs, the zenos know this, that's why they said that...cause goku probably wouldve let him win if they didnt...
- people talking about 'why did he show his full power?'....lol if you think that was his full power...he did just enough to put on a good show, and to make the other unis bring their strongest so he can have fun, while doing hero shyt....that's why he told them to bring it on, he dont give a fukk...
- still think the grand priest & zenos are up to no good....i say that cause of the rule that 'you have to throw your opponents off the ledge to eliminate them'....why do they want people to be thrown off into a place of void?....that's some truly fukked up shyt lol.....also, seems like a way to make sure you dont have to worry about the strongest stopping whatever evil plan you got brewing....
- speaking of the tourney, i get why they made it a rumble...it saves the creators from having to create so many fights, dialogue, animating that shyt, etc. lol....also, it does add the team aspect, which is cool....think we gonna see a lot of cross uni team-ups to eliminate uni 7.....

as for toppo vs goku:
it is interesting that he's a fighter for good, to stop evil....so when he doesnt beat goku, will that show goku isnt evil/the villain?....also, from the preview, we know there is a stronger dude in his group, so this fight will probably be stopped, and he'll tell goku he has someone else to fight/stop him....

Goku is irredeemable at this point. This dude is no longer a hero at all. I do like it but I just don't see him as a good person at all anymore. It seems like Toei had spies in this forum and read our thoughts on the whole everybody will hate Goku lol..

He told Gods to come at him like. It got me thinking the fact that he brought that out so early that Goku didn't even pretend Bergamo had a shot. That overkill. I think there'll be a new transformation for him.

I figured that GT is now obsolete.
Everything I mentioned takes place within the Z series.
But is the final fight between Goku and young Ubb still canon? (Will it still take place after Super is over)

The GT timeline doesn't exist. There's nothing to erase.
That pic is from the final episode of Dbz which is 10 years pass the buu saga.
DBS takes place in those 10 years.

This is a good point. Knocking them out of the ring in the void. Maybe they will be displaced from everyone else until the winner is declared.
Honestly though Majin Buu, Kakarot, Vegeta and Gohan can take out a lot of people. Universe 6 and 9 are irrelevant, besides Hit.
I like to keep expectations low until things are delivered but I'm so hyped for this. All that time wasted with the Trunks saga will be redeemed here.
