No way only earth fighters are in the tournament to save the universe. shyt don't make no sense considering Saiyans themselves aren't even earthlings plus the constant other worldly threats the z fighters are defending the earth from on a regular basis. The only reason to go with an all earth squad is being too lazy to design new fighters/races.

It's nothing more than Dragonball fan service. Roshi didn't fight at all during Z, he just played his role as a mentor. It was even mentioned that he was no match for the Saiyans. Yet, in ROF he's on the front lines holding his own against foes more powerful than those at the beginning of Z.
DBS seems to be big on nostalgia and seems to value that more than even the slightest bit of logic. With all the throwbacks, this series feels more like a retirement farewell tour.

my only gripe is trunks and goten not being included over them weak ass earthlings like roshi and krillin
