Uub probably won't be in the series, just because of the timeline.

Goku doesn't meet Uub until Trunks is like 18 and Pan is like 5, and right now she's not even born yet. So Uub is literally an infant at the moment...he won't be showing up unless they timeskip all the way to the 28th World Martial Arts Tournament. Or to put it another way, the year that this episode takes place in is like 774-775, and Goku doesn't meet Uub until 784.

I just saw the episode, classic dbz feel with the humor and everything.. its starting off 6 months after kid buu's defeat so goten and trunks havent aged yet but it did seem like trunks was pretty taller than goten
