also if yall remember, Goku essentially asked for help (even from freiza) and it was only as support, not to win.
The whole fight Goku learning how to even make a dent against this guy, and Jiren pushed him to the edge (which is why goku accomplished ultra instinct). The problem however; even at perfected form, Goku couldnt hold that form for long and his body is rendered useless after it runs out.
If Tori didn't hate Vegeta, this shyt would run smoother. From his introduction he's been stronger than Goku but inexplicably blows the lead in the 4th quarter and has been chasing since. As a whole child he was crushing multiple Saibamen at a time, each Saibamen being equivalent to 1 Raditz.
The same Raditz that pushed Goku's wig back and caused him to commit that just to get rid of him.
Fast forward to Vegeta getting pressed for the first time in his life and having to resort to Oozaru and finally beating Goku. Of course then this fool gets jumped by the rest of the crew and then washed by Oozaru Gohan, crawling away like Rick James after fukking up Eddie Murphy's couch.
For like the next 2 or 3 decades it's just Tori finding new ways to shyt on this man but he just gets more popular. At some point you've got to give this man another W, I think 20+ year intervals is more than enough, got damn.

Tori didn't realize he made another relatable character. Vegeta's struggle is understandable and realistic, and him having to slowly come to terms with his own shortcomings and growth (family) really had people fukking with him.
Tori didn't want to ride that train though and kept trying to throw Ls, but didn't realize those Ls helped make Vegeta relatable and were his best moments as a character (Final Atonement and struggle against Kid Buu).
That's on him. He took the L and got slapped around in the process. Defend yourself at all times...Vegeta made it clear what the stakes were.
