If my memory is correct, “Max” designed being similar to incomplete Cell with 17 is how Toriyama originally designed and wanted him to be. It was his editors that forced him to be more “human-like.”

Nevertheless this movie was entertaining and was definitely better than that Broly trash

I'm well aware that incomplete Cell was Toriyama's preference for a Perfect Cell, I just don't give a fukk. He was wrong, creators have shytty ideas they have to be talked out of all the time. You wouldn't have half the GOAT characters that exist in anime if nobody vetoed these dudes.

Perfect Cell was so popular because of his articulate and arrogant nature. It's because he wasn't a drooling idiot, like Cell Max.
