New movie was flames, soundtrack could have been better tho second half
The CGI honestly wasn't bad, animation style looked great the entire movie. This is how CGI should look and be handled. Other than that, felt the story itself was good, but Cell Max as the villain was shyt. They should have just went all the way and revived Cell so there would have been that connection. Tbh, this was a Piccolo movie with the new androids as supporting cast. Felt they had a lot more moments of note even with Gohan's stuff towards the end. Gamma 2 went out like a G.

I'm actually surprised. The Broly movie just had me waiting until the big fight, this one actually kept me entertained with the humor throughout.
Cell was trash though... Didn't care for piccolo's transformation either..

I went to see the movie on Thursday. I liked it but Piccolo’s infiltration of the Red Ribbon Army and the stuff with Bulma dragged for too long. I liked Broly more but I did like the movie more than a lot of the Z movies and the Super movies not named Broly.

If my memory is correct, “Max” design being similar to incomplete Cell with 17 is how Toriyama originally designed and wanted him to be. It was his editors that forced him to be more “human-like.”
Nevertheless this movie was entertaining and was definitely better than that Broly trash
