It seems what Beerus meant by recreating yourself Vegeta will now have to start doing. Beerus mentioned he needed to move on and let go of his past this may be the first step to mastering destruction

yeah. vegeta seems to have interpreted beerus' words to mean he needed to let go of his guilt about the past and embrace being that selfish, uncaring person for ultra ego to work. but maybe it was more about accepting who he was then, who he is now, and making peace with all of it. let go of everything that came before (all the guilt, pride, envy, greed, etc.) and focus on becoming the warrior he wants to be.

the past doesn't matter. the old vegeta never had a chance of becoming this strong, so why become that person again?

Because the original Bardock wasn't a Toriyama character. When Toriyama wrote Dragon Ball Minus, he wrote this version of Bardock and his character. And so this is what we got. DB- is canon too, so this is the Bardock we're getting going forward.

It's gonna be the same with Broly. Any story going forward that involves Broly, we're obviously going to be getting DBS Broly and not DBZ Broly

Animation is hit or miss to me. Some shots look good some look bad. As far as the Red Ribbon Army being a threat again. Meh

We should be past Androids being a threat to the fighters. Yeah Android 17 is strong but come on now.

dragonball's movies aren't really interesting when you look at them except for BOG, F, and Broly

and all 3 of those are exceptions because of the context behind them: one being the return of the franchise, 2nd being the first to super, and third making Broly canon.

but Dragonball and hows its composed with its movies are pretty bland and are just glorified 1 episode hour long filler fights.

i was one of those, who thought they were gonna make Cooler canon to, guess not.
