However: the real/main reason they turned Goku back into a kid was to nerf his power because they felt by the end of Z he was waaaay too powerful for anyone to realistically pose a threat to him

That's true but I would've done it a different way.

Maybe have Goku catch a disease or something. Having him be a kid seemed like the series was just regressing, and it's not like he was REALLY a kid anyway.

Gohan was never about that fighter life, he just has that latent potential.

I actually like the route he follows, it allows for him to potentially one day still kinda live up to that.... But I never want to see him as the main character, he'd always just be a weaker goku with more latent talent but less desire to fight.

I do like the idea of goten, or pan or even bra coming along and taking up a main character role in something past super. I think by the end of super goku just needs tp firmly be established as one of the strongest being in all the universes, if not the strongest outside of zeno.

That or have him lose the will to fight for some reason

Super really isn't bad, it's just isn't ground breaking like z or entertaining like Ball.

Super plays off everything built on those shows and adds nothing new besides transformations and power ups.


And at this point, I don't think we'll get anything else from super but that.


My favorite thing about super has been frieza and the broly movie.

Black much like this moro arc had potential but it always just kinda goes well, exactly the way you'd think it would but assume it wont.

Cell one isn't his fault. Him giving Cell a senzu was necessary for Gohan to take the next step to SSJ2. It was really Gohan's fault for not ending Cell when Goku told him to.

Also with Frieza, Goku made it clear that sparing him and letting him live with the fact that he was defeated by a Saiyan was a punishment worse than death. Considering how prideful Frieza is, that made sense. Can't fault it

Raditz and Moro though, both instances are completely inexcusable
