It makes sense if it's all connected... why would it be any different???? imagine seeing broly turning into a SS ozaru then turning into his final form and seeing vegeta shook... that would be cool... EDIT: Also the golden ozaru has to be cannon not something the dub made up Vegeta even told the story before goku fought frieza and turned SS.
Also if anything it would be cool to use it like they did in GT?!?

Did you just not pay attention to my post at all? Vegeta says absolutely nothing about a Golden Ozaru in the Japanese version, and there isn't even an image of it in the manga. It was Toei animation's guess of what the Super Saiyan might have looked like. The dub added in all of the other shyt about it being an Ozaru and his body exploding. Again, Vegeta makes no mention of this in the Japanese version. I don't know how to make it clearer.

It makes sense Toriyama made design might as well reboot him. Koyama wrote a very one dimensional character back then. A different portrayal of broly can only go up from the OG backstory in the movie.

the voice of Krillin in the dub from Mexico says the movie has been confirmed for a january 24 release in mexico

thats one month from the japanese release

Again, because they didn't know what a Super Saiyan even was when they did it. They guessed because Toriyama doesn't plan ahead and didn't tell them what it looked like at that point, and he disregards shyt that the anime does anyway. He prolly just told them "It prolly involves Gold, IDK" and they did their own thing. Like I said, the golden monkey doesn't even appear in the manga.

And GT doesn't even fit the main canon anymore anyway. Uub predates GT. Toriyama doesn't follow anything the anime does.

It's not a case of forgetfulness, he just doesn't give a shyt about the anime. He tells the story how he wants to. So anything that the anime "adds" to the story, he naturally won't incorporate unless by coincidence. So you get shyt like the filler episode where a ship projects an image of the moon that doesn't emit any light and causes Gohan to turn into an ape by looking at it, only for the manga to reveal that it's not the moon itself that causes the transformation, but the moonlight. Or Toriyama's concept of hell completely contradicting the anime's.
