The writers keep swinging from one shytty pole to the other shytty pole in terms of writing.
Jiren was OP’d from the jump but if they were gonna go that route, ok. At least it seemed interesting, how could he get that strong? We wanted to know about his backstory and origins.
They gave us some bullshyt there.
Goku murks himself with the Spirit Bomb and unlocks UI... loses against Jiren... gets it again against Kefla, who was ridiculously strong for “plot purposes
”
Then we have Vegeta and Goku fighting Jiren simultaneously, in their strongest forms (excluding Goku’s UI), and they aren’t able to inflict any damage.
Also Goku a) discovers a new power (UI) and b) masters it, ALL IN 20 MINUTES WHILE GETTING HIS shyt PUSHED IN. Achieves Mastered UI and dominates Jiren in the previous episode.
Now they’re gonna have Jiren still defeat Goku. It’s even more unbelievable for that to be the outcome after gifting Goku all these asspulls. If this was how it was gonna be they shouldn’t have had Goku master UI yet. Just have him keep fighting in UI Omen, as least it would’ve made more sense.
It should be a great fight but it’s like they’re trying to come up with ways to make the writing worse.
