Imma still watch but sticking to the same ol tropes is why we stuck in this situation rn. U6 vs U7 arc was solid, but you pretty much left that with Cabba and Hit being the only ones that mattered. Future Trunks arc was fantastic but it was far too long winded, especially for that ending. It dead ass felt like it was drew up for Vegito to finish it and someone got in Akira’s ear like “aye dog you forgot this is Trunks’s story.” I think we already know some of the issues w this particular arc
Too many modern shonens have you coming back wanting more and a big part of that is having every step already planned out. If DB comes back after a time skip (which absolutely needs to happen for the sake of the future), I have to suggest they go seasonal tbh. I saw the idea earlier and it should do a lot for the pacing issues that plague every Toriyama saga.

nikkas still sleeping on the fact that Dyspo was not only capable but was inevitably going to knock off Frieza AND Gohan if they didn't cage him. Breh went this whole ToP arc bullshytting & then G'd up at the end. 
I'll give #GohanSet some credit though, your boy thought up a strategy in less than a minute to neutralize his opponent before someone far more seasoned and powerful like Frieza didn't even consider or grasp with his golden ass on the edge of the stage. He redeemed himself after fukking up 17's plan.
The breh Dyspo shot up the rankings with his last showing.

what did people expect from gohan? 
when super started he was bum status. the fact that he made it to the final levels of a universal survival tournament says he's progressing back towards being a meaningful fighter.
he was never gonna be a factor at the end tho, and he shouldn't have been. every single person left standing is a god-level fighter (with the possible exception of 17). gohan has it in his genes, but he walked away from that life after the cell saga. all things considered, he had a good run. even frieza acknowledged him as the leader of universe 7 by the end. but gohan fukking with dyspo, toppo or jiren when they're giving goku and vegeta and frieza problems?
