I know GoaToriyama penned this one, but def could have scrapped the child thing. Even though GT wasn't canon, it's still something we've seen before.

Just finished episode 3. Did they bush my nikka GOAThan? I haven’t seen him at all. We saw kid Hercule. Even kid Yamcha. But no GOAThan? Smh

shyt got that One Piece pacing too. Opening showing Bulma, Vegeta, and Piccolo pulling up and those fools still stuck on Earth.

I'm still not convinced Toriyama had that much input in anything post goku and friends and maybe BOG. Him sitting in a storyboard room and saying sure let's go with that and drawing up some characters isn't writing. And even toyotaro said what he did put input into he thought was strange. But

He outlined all of Super's arcs and wrote the whole scripts for Ressurrection F, Broly, and Super Hero. So seems like being that the air is heavy in the demon realm and Goku being tiny means the fights are going to be more grounded and choreographed like the OG Dragon Ball. I fukk with it, we already seen the high intensity shyt on super. Can’t wait to see Vegeta’s combat in the style

Show is pretty slow so far. Looks like one i won't end up watching weekly. Besides the first episode not too much happens where I'm needing to know what happens week to week.
Plus the tone is a lot more kid oriented than super or dbz so far. It's not a bad thing necessarily but the stakes so far are pretty low so I can wait for the season to finish then binge it. Since it also takes place before super I'm not worried about spoilers either.

I love it personally because i’m watching it with my daughter and it reminds me of OG Dragonball. Seeing Goku use the Power Pole and fight hand to hand brings back a certain nostalgia. I felt like they went OG with the power ups and over-produced fights on Super and I lost interest. Daima is actually holding my interest and the fact my daughter likes it is a bonus.
I’m guessing this is going to follow the GT formula of starting out more adventurish and slowing getting into DBZ territory. They’ve already hinted at Fusion, Senzu Beans, and transformations in the latest episode so its only a matter of time. Its already better than GT though because you can tell Toriyama had his guiding hand on this one.

They'd be stuck as kids and would have to regrow up and shytAlso we don't know the other real threats of the demon world. Majin seem to have heavy influence and we know their magical abilities are quite dangerous. What does suck is this is a prequel so we know everyone is good anyway

It would've made more sense to instant transmission to Namek wish themselves back grown then wish themselves to Gomah, beat his lil ass and bring Dende back.
Especially since we know that Dabura was considered peak power for them....SSJ2 Goku solos
