I actually came in really skeptical. I forget how goofy and carefree kakarot is and how that works better if he’s a kid actually. It has impressed me.

I’d put the best of the goku black saga and the end of ToP over it still, but i’ve enjoyed more than the movies for sure, and more than the rest of super

Super ran into a lot of studio animation issues which didn't help. Daima was given proper time.

This shyt is amazing. Super was great for the fights but the animation and lore building in this show is top notch

Definitely reminds me why Toriyama is the GOAT
He did a phenomenal job so far

Finally started watching it and am on episode 3 now and I’m enjoying it so far. I brushed it off when it got revealed because it looked childish but I gave it a shot because it’s the GOAT last work before he passed.

And that intro is beautiful. Almost shed a tear.

Yeah, I finished up episode 2 last night and there’s tons of cool little world building and lore stuff as far as Namekians and Majins. I’m having a blast and I haven’t even hit the action part yet.

And yeah I never fully watched OG Dragon Ball either. I caught episodes here and there on Toonami and have a general idea of how the story goes but I never sat down and watched it from beginning to end.

Once you get to the 22nd and 23 WT its fire. The fights are really done well
