i gotta admit im getting kinda bored of it, probably because i had to start over.

The story kind of lost me. Only thing keeping me going is that the missions are usually kind of short and the combat is still fun after resetting my skill tree and doing another build

This game suffers from that Marvel lighthearted quip syndrome. It's not really bad but it's not great either. It's serviceable. Bellara seems almost child like. She talks to you like she's talking to a toddler.

It says a lot about the gap between BioWare and other rpg studios now. I put like a 3rd of the amount of time into this game as i did Baldur’s gate 3 and im already kind of like meh….

i don’t even think i left act 1 in BG3 yet with how long I’ve been playing this game.

its clear Larian and CDPR are kings of this genre at this point and no one else is really in spitting distance anymore.

fukk outta heeere lol

people refunding this shyt after extended play because the writing/dialogue/narrative wouldn't even make the cut for teen titans go

like what you like but be honest :mjlol:

I’ve enjoyed it. I actually enjoyed it more than inquisition. I enjoyed it longer than Dragons Dogma. The only thing that could have made it perfect was mixing some Dragons Dogma mechanics into Age, like climbing the larger enemies lol. I probably won’t pick it up again until some DLC comes around though.

Don’t know how true it is but I heard they will not be releasing any DLC.

Man yall wild. I'm 22 hours in and feel no signs of stagnation or boredom. Normally at this mark I'm ready for a game to end. Not with this one.

I picked up Taash, and while she's annoying and out of place (her voice actress sucks btw), her banter with Davrin is hilarious. The game literally gives your character the option to make a humorous reply during each conversation, so obviously they were going with the light-hearted approach here. People are right about it being Marvel-esque. The world is ending, yet our 'heros' are making quips throughout.

Not everyone wants to play Elden Ring, where all the characters suffer from some form of wide-scale massive depressive disorder while you wander aimlessly to your next slaughter.

It’s the drastic tonal shift that has thrown me off, this is meant to be the be all end all of all Dragon age games. This is essentially the infinity wars/end game for the Dragon age games. I feel like I hardly recognise this world and it’s weird considering I have played and completed every Dragon age game. Not to mention it just seems so bare, maybe I have been spoiled by BG3 but interactions seem so limited the world feels flat.
