He'll be alright, everyone being tuned into the league 24/7 has kind of hurt player development. Teams don't feel as comfortable developing players for a longer period of time.

Look how long it took someone like Kyle Lowry to get to where he is. And speaking of Raptors player development, they put all that effort into Caboclo and got clowned for it.

hold up

there is literally no guard in the league who has improved as much as Kyle Lowry. His progression from when he got drafted to now is completely unrealistic for any point guard in today's game lol

and he didn't improve because of one team either - he got passed around the league, got hurt, saw coaches he liked get bounced, etc

no team is waiting 5+ years for a guy to figure it out. with the way development works now, you getting two MAYBE three years before hungry g-leaguer or stashed player takes your spot.
Bol Bolis a project
naw he sucks

weight isn't fixing that defense or helping him move better. he aint even got the same skills as former #1 HS player Byron Mullens and that dude is in Russia right now :mjlol:

Yeah that's what I mean, nobody is going to take those kind of chances anymore, so there's not much of a chance we'll see something like that again.

2-3 years isn't nearly enough time for some of these guys, at least let them finish their rookie deal lol.

This is a low light reel. He avg 2.6 blocks a game and almost a steal a game playing under 30mins

I can show you a low light reel of Rudy Gobert that would have you thinking why isn't this guy in China.
Exactly. Dude has a lot to work on but that reel was definitely picking and choosing. Let Bol Bol slip in the draft to the late first round and watch people start freaking out and say how “he’s a steal :damn:

so in this league where its expected for bigs to jump out and handle guards on the PnR, bol bol looks okay to you?

the same bol bol who can't even deal with traditional back to the basket play either?

he ain't even as good as Skal :dead: that dude 3 years away still too

If you take him too high MAYBE. I think he's worth the risk though. KP was picked at 4 in his draft and he cant move or handle the ball like Bol can. If Im the Pelicans Im thinking about taking him with the 4th pick...

Porzingis can handle guards on the PnR? What threat even plays back to the basket anymore besides Embiid?

You can nitpick on what he cant do but what can he do? Shoot, handle the ball, block shots, all at 7'2. He's worth a look if you're in the top 10...

KP jumping out on the perimeter to play defense is nothing new and the bigs who can't do that are expected to at the very least defend the paint from basic dump offs and dives. I don't know why people love to say that only a handful of guys in the league will post up - any team will take those free buckets off you if they dont have to respect your interior

if you dont mind risking a lotto pick and can't trade it away for whatever reason, then sure - believe in this guy's ability to stay on the floor.

he's more frail than zach collins, less skilled than skal, a worse defender than mullens, and most teams picking that high ain't got a need for him or the patience.
