Shaq if he never goes over 315 lbs, otherwise Kobe.
This right here. Shaq is the most dominate big man of all time. But he was lazy and didn't have the drive. Kobe had that drive and always kept his team in a position to win games. Not to mention he was loyal. I'm going with Kobe.

Depends are we talking about them as prospects if so I’m going

1.) Shaq
2.) Duncan
3.) Kobe

If we’re talking in retrospect knowing how their careers played out ie injuries, teams switched best performances

1.) Duncan
2.) Kobe
3.) Shaq( no point in drafting a guy who’s gonna leave)

If we’re talking peaks

1.) Shaq
2.) Kobe ( by a hair over Duncan these dudes embodies everything their positions represented)
3.) Duncan

Duncan easily.

Shaq is a merc and has a huge ego the second he feel like he not the number 1 guy he going to bounce

Kobe is going to require you to sacrifice a year or two for his farewell tour which is going to stunt the growth of all your young players. Oh and you have to build very specific teams around him...like you have to have a hall of fame big man to go along with him otherwise you just going to be another run of the mill team losing to the suns in the 1st round.

Duncan :wow:

Want to win a chip with an aging all star big on his last legs who can barely play 20 minutes a game...you can

Want to win a chip while your young point guard learns how to be an nba player...you can

Want to win a chip while your young point guard becomes a hall of fame player in his own right and you need to take a back seat offensively...you can

Want to draft a guy at 15 overall that you think has great potential but his offensive game is non existent and you KNOW its going to take years for him to reach the level of being the franchise player...no problem...you will win another chip while you wait for that to happen...

Bonus points for in his last year convincing a moody semi weirdo big man to come replace him who's game is not pretty to look at...BUT...you keep on winning and putting yourself in position to get another chip...

I honestly don't even understand why this is a thread...the lakers literally became one of the worst teams in the nba while Kobe was still playing for them and haven't recovered since...
