Nah, Dr. Umar is right. Most, not all, HBCUs do not require African American History. shyt....I looked at a couple curriculums and African American History is not required. If you give me a choice of taking African American History or World History...that is Dr. Umar's point.

Don’t know the curriculum of other HBCUs, but Afro American history was a requirement at
NC A&T. It’s a required freshman course.

He delivered some sermons. There's a segment of every Black community worldwide who will follow any person with oratory skills.

Oh, and be clear it is a sermon. Dudes will criticize the church and older Black people, but are guilty of some of the things they point fingers at the older generation for.

If a religious figure was reported to have done half of what these YTers do regularly....dudes would be tripping over themselves to call the congregants all types of fools and sheep.

How is this school going to operate if they can’t even pay for maintenance? How will they pay the teachers? I don’t see the people who can actually afford private school tuition, sending their boys there.
