I might be done posting here after this, I believed in Umar, but his recent behavior shows he's not fit to be running a school with children. He's a scammer.
Y'all call us haters all you want, but if he was really serious in this school, for how long he has been touting it, it should of been up years ago.

He's homeless now (I haven't seen a video of his in almost a year where he wasn't filming either outside or in his car) just majking these seemingly erratic videos where he just talks about random stuff that will never happen.

Umar wants this school to have phys ed, yoga, skeet shooting, a track and field team, a presidential complex, and all of this other stuff, yet he can't even pay all the property taxes and utilities he owes to even have the school up and functional in accordance with the state of Delaware.

So how is this realistically going to happen?

Knowing all the expenses private schools have (tuition, staff/faculty, utilities, upkeep, etc) how is Umar really gonna get this done...something that should of been done YEARS AGO?

I think I might be done with this forum because people here have incredibly low expectations

....when you present them with the facts of the situations (I've researched this school from various other sources on the internet) they have nothing to say but say "you're white", "you're a hater", "you're not ADOS"....but how is this school going to open?

I bet you they can't even respond with anything outside of hypotheticals and stuff that has nothing to do with this situation.

A couple of pages ago I saw somebody arguing that they would know what goes into Umar's school cause they're family are contractors...ok...yall gonna go down to Wilmington and help out cause what in the flying phuck does that have to do with this thread?

How many young boys grew into adulthood since Umar undertook this project?
As people keep pointing out, a pilot program.....even a Summer enrichment program could have helped the development of those kids. In the process, could have helped Dr. Johnson gain the experience of running a Summer program and transition into running a full.

Situation for our young men is grim, but we'd be better off supporting existing Black lead schools and programs that are steering them in the right direction.

More black men should get into childcare, so they can influence preschool aged black boys. The barrier to entry is minimal and it’s a profitable business.

Man, paint on his face but no tape or paint buckets in site. Hell not even a cover for the floor on it. So he cleaned all the paint materials up to showcase the school but didn't wash that shyt off his face. Also, I paint rooms here and there on the side I've never got paint on my face like that.

And I was a real painter for 4+ years. I guess you never rolled any actual ceilings then?

FYI...everyone doesn't need to use tape. I was taught by an OG Rican cat, from the BX. He painted over 30+ years. If your taping everything, your wasting time, therefore wasting money. Only in necessary situations. Steady-hand shyt! We mainly painted high-end clientele (middle to upper-class homes), and commercial spaces too (restaurants, state jobs, etc.). Long-story short, quit hatin on the black man, with fabricated tales for daps.

based on what I know... he needs a general contractor licensed in DE and an architect to get a permit in order to get occupancy. There is nothing an individual plumber or plumbing contractor can do for him. There’s no benefit in painting anything. He can’t do any substantive work on the building until the jha says go and they haven’t said go yet.

All of that can change in another 2 years... So people counting Umar out might be in for a shock when he ends up with a useable building one day. This doesn’t address operating budgets and teachers and curriculums and shyt but it’s still possible.

Just in time for when the rona is under control.

He really might get there. He’s got a building to use as a prop to raise more $ now. He can also get a small part of the building up to code in order it get partial occupancy and then work on the rest of it later. We’ll see what happens in a few more years.
