Black teachers teaching what the European forces them to teach,doesnt make it a black school. Just because they may highlight black history. Thats nice that the faculty helped create upstanding,business minded black men. But at the end of the day,what did they create them to do? Go get high paying jobs working for the European? Go create a black business where the funds help support white supremacy that funds our oppression? What are these black suburbanites doing any different than white people in suburbs? Other than I guess they get to feel more comfortable amongst their own? Is that the best we can do? Despite popular belief,plenty of black people are comfortable in the hood too. And not to mention there are "plenty of businesses" there. But not black businesses that would make it so the money doesnt have to leave the black community. Im guessing it isnt much different in those suburbs. No black hospital,no black schools,no black gas stations,no black grocery stores etc.


Different zipcode,same lack of sovereignty and self sufficiency as the hood.

Everything everyone does in the USA eventually goes into the pockets of white folks. There are plenty of black people comfortable in the hood but what are they doing to benefit the average black man, woman, family in the hood? They're violent, food deserts, the infrastructure is trash, the living conditions are trash, access to housing, education substandard and rife with corruption. What exactly do you love about the hood? That's it's just black people? It has to be more than that. It can't simply be about existing. There has to be progress, and there is none. Black identity has to be bigger than just the hood.

I feel like this is where things are headed in the black community, unfortunately. This is what people, be it simps and many women, actually mean in regards to wanting men to do more for the community. shyt like this will do the opposite and drive men away from it or at least, drive them towards being more insular, caring only for their families and no one else, especially since the latter seems to bring more headache than anything else.

But they never talk about what THEY will do for the community. They never want to talk about what they are willing to sacrifice for the community. It's always about what other people need to sacrifice. While these black professionals are building up the community, what do these folks plan on doing besides sitting on their asses and reaping the benefits?

A community needs to be about EVERYONE buying in and doing what's right for the collective. Too many of us have a selfish view of the community and that's why these discussions tend to be so dysfunctional.

1). Black people do save at comparable rates to whites but we also take care of more of our family members with the little money we do have in our pockets.

2). You cannot make yourself healthy in a society that has broken you and continues to find ways to undermine you and hurt you. You cannot make yourself healthy in a sick society. To suggest we put off reparations until that happens is downright ludicrous.

There are plenty of legitimate organizations made by Black professional men to help our communities. A quick google search will bring them up for anyone who is actually interested in knowing the truth. So the "good" Dr. Umar should already be familiar with those organizations, since the vast majority of professional Black men who do take an interest in helping our people would already know about those organizations.

So tell me, why would he say professional Black men abandoned the communities when we have created organizations to help uplift the communities? There are two possible reasons here. One, he does not know about those organizations (again organizations that any Black professional whom have interest in the upliftment of our communities would know via a simple google search) or Two he is pandering to a crowd that he knows already looks down on the average Black male professional (Squares) and are ignorant about those organizations themselves.

No matter the reason, I personally believe anything that comes out of that mans mouth is focused on acquiring one thing: Donations. So I do not take anything he says seriously, because I consider him to be a grifter.

The generational cycle of dysfunction and prolong exposure to poverty in poor/working class Black communities can not be broken by clean up men. Professional/Lame Black men would just be maids having to come clean up periodically after those communities are messed up again. No thanks, friend.

Bingo,which just proves my point about the black suburbs. To be clear I dont love the hood or think its ideal. I even said that in my first post.


I think its just a fact black people in the suburbs are more likely to become assimilated.More likely to preach bootsrap rhetoric. More likely to marry and date outside their race. And this is whether they live in a mostly black suburb or not. Black suburbanites are simply more likely to live around c00ns and deeply Europeanized blacks. Im only saying black people in the hood will be easier to deprogram,or program to benefit the collective. Just in terms of the culture of the hood,and having less to lose.
