I can't imagine what Dre's vaults are like. Dude just throws out beats like that Death Row concert opener, the Up in Smoke DVD, the video endings of Cali Love and The Next Episode, the beats he did for Bad Boys II, etc. It will never happen, but I would kill to get a box set of his vaults.

The outro beat was just a teaser for "The Up In Smoke Tour".



I went through my old CD-R's and DVD's, but i couldn't find it. I'll ask a couple of people if they still have it. Odd that it ain't on Youtube though. I remember downloading it from the old DUBCNN forums, there was multiple threads about it because people thought Dre produced it for Game, but it was just the instrumental from the video looped and he did a song over it.

I always used to post at the Dub surprised I can't remember this dropping outside of a low quality snippet.

Dope. Always loved that instrumental.

Now just need someone to put some Dre and Snoop vocals over this Dre instrumental used as an intro for Death Row concerts

Yeah, I'd be down to do it, but the sound quality on that video is bad. I tried searching online for a better quality rip, but no luck so far. I messaged the guy who uploaded that video.....maybe he'll get back to me eventually....

No it's not. What are you listening to it on? I have my computer hooked up to a stereo system, and I can hear a TON of phasing on the drums and hi hats, as well as digital artifacts everywhere. Even the original uploader of that video acknowledged that it's low quality (he msg'd me back...he said he has a higher quality version of this beat.....waiting to see if he'll send it to me....stay tuned....)

i downloaded the song and burned it on a cd and bump it in my whip all the time. shyt bangs. like i said damn near perfect quality. something is wrong with your ears.

Bruh.....I graduated as a studio recording engineer. Part of my schooling was 'ear training'.

So unless you're an audio engineer yourself, I'm pretty sure my ears are much better than yours (which explains why you think the sound quality is 'perfect'). Hey....I wish my ears weren't so trained, because then lower quality audio wouldn't bother me so much, and I could enjoy lo-fi audio just like you. The audio in that video sounds like a highly compressed mp3 with a low bitrate.
Also, car speakers mask a lot of audio imperfections, which also explains why you think the sound is ok. The truest way to judge audio is thru studio monitor speakers...other than that, the next best thing is a good set of headphones, or stereo speakers running thru a flat EQ.

It is a remake....The OP of the video told me he remade it, and that he has a higher quality version of it. I asked if he'd send it to me....still waiting for him to respond....

No doubt. Its a good remake. However, the uploader on Youtube even have the copyright credits in the description box where you can see. Not that i needed that to know. You can tell on the drums that it aint Dre/Death Row.

Yeah, the 'copyright' credits he has listed are for his remake KooLN3rD Music Records©2011 & 2016. I'm surprised he managed to get it cleared thru BMI Music Publishing.
Although you're right about the drums not being the usual Death Row sound, the drums in this particular case are the exact drums that Dre used on the OG beat, which is one of the reasons why his remake is so close. If you listen again closely to the OG clip above and the remake, you'll be able to hear it. He didn't really program those drums though.....that's a famous drum break used on a bunch of older hip hop records.
