I still listen to Compton. Song for song what rap album that came out in 2015/16 is fukkin with it?

:jbhmm:
No one cares about that. We're comparing to dre's previous productions and it's a big let down production wise and rapping wise. It's no better than the Aftermath Presents album

(Say what you want, but this album was flawless in execution. production jammed all the way through, this dude matured his flow. album 4.5/5 - real spit)

Don't get me wrong, Dre is a very talented producer and song writer(?). and I'm not taking anything away from his music making talents, just for me... the Compton Album lacked in overall direction. his production is solid on the album, but the direction of it (sound wise) was hard to relax to, and over all the creation felt uninspired.

but 2015 had some crazy music drop, all if not most were over shadowed by Dre's Compton hype up and release.

Anyone say that Lupe delivered anything other than flames, I'm blocking you until this site goes dark. lol, Lupe album was insane.

Only great thing about it was the album cover..

such a waste of good art on a useless project.

Album lacked signature moments and standout guest spots. shyt feels like one long song. Biggest issue with the album is that it lacked BANGERS. I mean shyt u can lift to...shyt u can bang in the whip. It's a cool album I guess but nothing I would be eager to revisit. I'll give this some burn tho

Can't lie. It was wack as hell compared to the other albums. But seriously, he has been around since the late 70's. You can't be on top forever. His legacy will run forever. The Chronic and Chronic 2001 are classics. The beats will never fade. I was just listening to the Day the nikkas Took Over today. :francis:

Most disappointing album in history

I mean, shyt is barely average, had to force myself to get through it

Only thing good about that weed plate was that it put me on Anderson Paak
