cot damn kendrick, xzibit, snoop, and em snapped on this

im not feeling some of these beats off of first listen, but this definitely needs the whip test

I think 2 of the most impressive things after 1½ listens to me are.... (other than the production) are...

1) all the veterans sounding like they brought their A-game. Cube sounds sharp. Em's yelling is calculated. Game rappin like his career is depending on it. Snoop sounding better than in years. K.Dot treating this like Em treated 2001. Etc. etc.

2) newcomers blend really well in... ppl were concerned about the white dude Justus but I he doesn't stand out in a bad way at all. he did his thing and it felt like he was part of the album like everyone else. And King Mez & Anderson .Paak actually shined on couple of songs both.


people sayin Em only needs to be rappin only over Dre production from now on. I get that. But who REALLY needs to do that is Cube. He still has (at least) that one GREAT album in him and his lack of focus & average production are the main problem.

Especially Connor. He killed For the Love of Money. I've always liked him. Wish he could get a push. I feel you 100% on Kendrick. Good comparison between him here and Em on 2001.
