Dre could've done Jon Connor more justice than giving him that loud, rock beat. :francis:

Some of the sounds in the album don't have that west coast flavor

edit: I spoke too soon. He had to make sure Dre had his back on For the Love of Money. He bodied that shyt :wow:
He kills it on that song.

Dre + Premiere

:gladbron:

I wish he would've let Kendrick rap with Eminem on Medicine Men.

Game murdered it too. I agree with a previous poster who said this album was begging for 50. That would have been a nice touch.

And fukk Dre for saying he didn't put out Detox because it was whack. No way he put out Compton out of no where and it sounds this good but he been working on detox since Clinton was in office and it sucks. :what:

And all the little known talent really shined on this joint.

I was thinking about Detox too... maybe it was because he didn't have any certain direction/theme? I mean not that The Chronic & 2001 had one particular. but after all these years, maybe Dre just needed to make an album with some type of concept. I mean I get that he could've just called this Detox but now it doesn't have to live up to those expectations.

This album is damn near perfect. Every feature is placed perfectly I would've liked a little more Snoop on here though. The way Kendrick snapped on :heh: had me like :mindblown: too bad he will respond to a tweet but not that verse on Deep Water

Wasn't impressed by Mez or Justus on this introduction. Absolutely nothing that would make me anticipate future work from them. That in itself is a let down on Dre's end considering that level of artist he has broke in the past with his albums.

Anderson was atleast distinct in his tone and delivery. I like the album. Definitely needed more west coast representation sonically.

And I need that party record!!!!
