The good doctor is the most influential and most important artist ever in this bullshyt we call hip hop. Don't let the biased east coast losers on this site tell u any different.

its a great album, but doesn't have those signature Dre tracks that would make this a classic (G Thang, Dre Day, Still Dre, Next Episode, etc.)

still can play this front to back though. World's introduction to Anderson Paak. Kendrick absolutely crushed his features. Almost all features were on point tbh.

:mjlol: At all you clowns in here trying to say this album was good or anywhere even close to being a classic. shyt was trash and that's the reason why that's the general consensus. Not because everyone was expecting another chronic or 2001 or because it just went over everybody's heads. It was just trash. Here we are three years later and the album is completely forgotten about, never talked about or played while cuts from 2001 and The Chronic are played on a daily basis by the General Public. That tells you everything you need to know :ehh:

Dre to trying flow and sound like wack ass Kendrick Lamar :snoop:

Dre not actually producing a single beat on the album :what:

No hits, videos, or singles :scust:

No memorable or classic songs in the vein of Xxplosive, What's the Difference, The Watcher or bytches Ain't shyt :huhldup:

ITS NOT THE GENERAL CONSENSUS

GO CHECK THE REVIEWS, VERY POSITIVE

U JUS THINK THIS BECAUSE DRE DIDNT PROMOTE IT, SO IT WASNT SHOVED DOWN UR THROAT LIKE THE OTHERS

Y’all need to stop lying about this album. It was very mediocre even by today’s standards. The very last track and the one with Ice Cube were the best ones. The rest were forgettable. The worst part was Dre sounding like Kendrick Lamar wrote every single lyric for him and even rehearsed his delivery and cadences.

Media reviews != General consensus

Like I said this album is almost completely forgotten about and it's not because of lack of promotion. It's because it was not good. Plain and simple.

It was a boring and soulless album with no standout or memorable beats, melodies, performances, or lyrics.

Where are the hits like nothing but a G Thang Let Me Ride Dre Day The Next Episode or Still Dre?

where are the timeless classics that will still be getting burned 20 years from now like what's the difference or Xxplosive?

the only real standout song on the album was Talking to My Diary and lo and behold it's basically the one song on the entire album that Dre is rapping in his normal voice and flow has a good beat. That was the basic problem with the album: it had wack beats and Dre not being himself.
