Still loving this album. It just lacks those definitive bangers. Maybe he shoulda called mel-man or storch :mjpls:

Mixing is weird too everyones voice kinda lacking their usual bass

Right now my favorite moment is the dude finding his way back to the surface for air at the beginning of "One Shot One Kill." That outro to "Deep Water" is hard to listen to, so it's a relief that the dude somehow survives.

You said the joints were better than ALL the Detox leaks, I disagree. This could've/should've been on there as a single.

Dre was stupid for not dropping that Rakim solo. That one song he did over that beat Busta Rhymes used later on for his Aftermath album was str8 fire. (Rakim's version was a 100 times better than Busta's version) They consider that song a Detox throwaway track, but that was clearly supposed to be a song for Rakim's Aftermath album. Yeah them Detox throwaways did have they moments.

Sometimes I think I'm enjoying this album.

Then it feels like I'm listening to the hip hop equivalent of a Michael Bay movie.

I'm still in two minds here.
