Another reason why win's argument is bullshyt is because he singling out Youtube who didnt have a contract with DD (they demonetized from a program anyone wiht 1k subs can be apart of) and not mentioning the other companies that had contracts.

Also what you and win keeping looking over is Youtube never hired dd and didnt employ him. He tried to get a contract with youtube and they denied him.

They denied a contract to him because the twitch exit was fishy and they can be as selective as they want to on who to give those million dollar deals/contracts to.

Again he’s been an alleged pedo for half a decade now.

Alleged doesnt mean anything if you dont have proof. Businesses cant deny shyt off of internet rumors when contracts and shyt are involved that has very specific wording. Their partner program that anyone can join like @itsyoung!! pointed out has specific guidelines to join(1k subs and certain watched hours) it also has a moral clauses or w/e. They couldnt deny him from joining that program based on rumors. Once he admitted to inappropriately messaging a minor (because only an idiot or troll would look at his response and say it wasnt sexual), they were legally in the right to demonitize him and did so.

Now if youtube allows monetization again on his channel, yall can rightfully get on yall soapbox about "they knew!!!".

Rumors dont matter, him getting a settlement killed the pedo rumors. There is no amount of due diligence or investigation that wouldve changed anything at the time because no one was talking about what happened due to NDAs. The only one saying anything was DD saying he got a settlement. When that ex twitch employee spoke out(possibly breaking NDA), that is what shined a light on what really happened.

When I say a factor I mean with him in particular. He was with Twitch not YouTube. If Twitch didn't ban him he would have still been there. So yeah the door opened specifically because of this incident.

Why then can't they say we feel these funds should be contributed to a great cause? They get to step in and profit off all this then have the nerve to suspend his subs so he can't make money off doing this but they can profit from it?
