Same reason the music industry protected Kells, diddy, movies protecting weinstein...etc

These corps/industry will protect their assets until its not good to
He's just a guy talking and playing games in front of a camera. He wasn't worth protecting. When they banned him they should have published why they did it.

I crossed a line by saying YouTube's actions in all this is wrong? What line have I crossed? I think you don't really understand my point. You're so fixated on Dr Disrespect who is a piece of shyt I'm not defending BTW ( same guy ran up on a kid in the bathroom with a camera or something to that effect) I'm not talking about what he did I'm talking about YouTube. None of this involved them.
What would've been Youtube's correct actions then? Only thing they did was demonetize dude.

So you basically want Youtube to do nothing after Dr. Disrespect admitted to sexting with a minor? Like, dude comebacks from vacation in 2 months and gets back on stream and gets a crazy amount of money from the weirdo crowd that still supports and defends him. That would be ok with you knowing what we now know about what happened? :dahell: are you shytting me? :why:

Please explain how it involves YouTube at all. It doesn’t. His advertising partners yeah they should drop him as he’s toxic to their brand. YouTube is just a site people upload content to. There are people with objectionable views and behavior right now uploading and monetizing content on YouTube. Suddenly they put their foot down over a guy who had incidents on another platform that didn’t involve them in the slightest?

YouTube harbors known white supremacist and gives them a platform. They harbored Sandy hook deniers. This isn’t them taking a stance it’s them trying to avoid any controversy on something they profited off of.

@winb83 how do you feel about donald sterling being forced to sell the clippers because of the tape being released?
How do you feel about ppl losing their jobs because they are at racist events like tiki torch shyt or jan 6 riots?
The difference here and with those is this guy did what he did predating his YouTube deal. That other stuff happened while those people were in their current at the time positions.

Notice I'm not saying Twitch was totally wrong in what they did. There was wrongdoing there too but it was because they didn't go far enough. They should have publicized why they banned him. YouTube on the other hand he didn't do that stuff when he was there. I'm pretty sure someone like JonTron a known confessed while on YouTube white supremacist can upload stuff just fine while expressing public views about minorities diluting the purity of the population or some shyt. Even in the email to their subs YouTube is like "we'll contact you when we turn his subs back on" or something to that effect.

So do you agree those ppl deserved to lose their jobs?
He admitted to inappropriately texting minors and that being the reason why he was banned. Idk why it's so hard for you to grasp. New info became available, they acted on that info. He lied about why he was banned from twitch. He hid behind the "twitch paid me a settlement" argument like he was innocent. If I tell my current employer that I was fired from my previous job for reason A and my employer finds out I lied about that and was fired for something much worse, I expect to be fired.

Also, which was stated earlier he never had a deal/contract with youtube. They just demonetized him. He can still upload stuff just fine like JonTron in your example.

That does not fukking matter. If someone worked at a job and upper management found out they did some foul shyt while at another one, they are getting fired. It makes you look bad to associate your company with someone like that, because it could lead to PR issues and loss of money.

What do you expect them to do, say "That shyt is fukked up but at least you did not do it while you were here, you are good to go"? Hell, at some point they may shut his whole channel down. This is a company that has the absolute power to shut your shyt down just because it was raining, so what do you think they would do to someone admitting to sending sexual texts to kids?

So how yo you feel about the fact that YouTube got to sign this guy because he was involved with that minor? Make money from the entire situation because he was involved with that minor then suspend his monetization because of it? It's ok for them to monetize him and keep that money then try and act like something is wrong with the situation?

If you found out the windfall from your current wife was because she murdered her previous spouse and got insurance money how bad do you really feel about what she did if you like I'm gonna separate (not even a divorce just a separation) from you but I'm keeping that insurance money?

I wouldn't expect YouTube to do anything because it's basically a social media type platform that harbors all sorts of deplorable people. Viewers would likely cancel their subs in outrage over his previous behavior but their behavior screams we just don't want to be seen doing nothing rather than we care about what actually happened. YouTube should be hanged to dry for their behavior here. They got to play both sides of this.

We are having two different conversations. I'm speaking but you don't hear me you're literally inventing shyt and attributing it to me. I don't know why so many people on this website that don't even have basic reading comprehension skills are so obsessed with trying to psychologically break down a person they couldn't even ID if they saw off the streets off a few paragraphs they read online and can't even comprehend.

The person you all think I am only exist in your imagination. I don't pretend to know none of yall or act like I understand your thinking stitching together a bunch of stereotypes. Makes me wonder why yall do that to me.

So. Cal
Yall reading comprehension is broke.

@winb83 isnt defending dude.

He’s saying youtube got to play both sides and people should be on their ass for that too.
No.

Nobody knew the details about why he was banned. It was kept quiet due to an NDA. When youtube found out why he was banned on twitch, they demonetized him. Stop capping for a pedo supporter :beli:
