Some of you people are crazy. You think what he did justifies YouTube retaliating against him for something that has nothing to do with them and doesn't involve them? They profited off him for years. Are they gonna count all that money they got from him being on their platform and give it to a charity? No. Nah they'll keep that money then act like they suddenly grew a conscious when that incident is why he ended up signing to YouTube in the first place.

The YouTube partnership program is based on ads and a sharing of ad revenue. This man has become a pariah based on his own actions. So tell me, what company would be ok with having ads for their brand or products plastered all over his videos going forward? Furthermore, I would venture to guess a substantial amount of brands probably contacted YouTube directly to ensure they wouldn’t be associated with this guy at all.

So, if there’s no ad revenue, there’s no partnership. All that other shyt you’re talking about is irrelevant.

Said incident occurred in 2017, but he had been on twitch since 2011. If they're paying you a check, you're an employee. They had every right to ban him, but I assume they didn't want to bring more attention to the platform in 2020.
