In the clip he says BBL, then goes into numerous other beauty standards that are put out by the media, that lead to women thinking "this is what men want."
Yes.. Women say it's not for us. And we say going to the gym and making bank and getting fly cars ain't for women.. And we both lying. Cause when man/woman wants to court the opposite sex, we know what to use to get them, because we tend to see what they like through forms of media. What do the men who are popular with women tend to have in common? Tell me that a regular man isn't trying to obtain all those things. Is it FOR women? No.. But we damn sure know it'll help being fit, smelling good, having some balls, certain hair style, certain fashion, etc etc
I never said it was on black men either breh. Even in the clip, he says he can't even put it all on men or black men totally. But we got a click bait society now so it's "BBLs." Forget BBLs and think about the long eyelashes, the nails, the weave, less clothing everyone is wearing, the pics they posting, the other surgery's they getting like lip fillers.. Just a little botox.. All that shyt he was talking about
It ain't a bunch of women following these hoes on IG. It ain't a bunch of women following the top porn stars and keeping it a billion dollar industry. Women ain't putting 100k a month in some hoe's only fans.. It ain't a bunch of women at the strip club keeping them open. If you go see some beautiful wholesome woman with a degree on IG with 100k followers and 100 pretty exotical bytches with nothing going on but a fat ass, but they got 1.5 million and making 100k a month on only fans.... Which one would you think men want? When you see it DAILY. fukk, hourly.
Again.. That didn't materialize out of thin air. But if you had to take a wild guess at which group PROMOTED that image to the masses... Which group would you say that was?
Well, I don’t know a single man that lies and says that women aren’t a motivator for us to be successful. Not to the extent that women do.
Most dudes I know are honest and have no issue admitting that women are a motivator for why we pursue certain things, but that’s neither here nor there.
Black men have been saying for the LONGEST that we don’t like the weaves, long fingernails, exaggerated lashes, etc.
And black women would respond by saying one of two things (or both):
1. “You ain’t my Daddy. I’m a grown woman, don’t worry about what I choose to do!”
2. “You must be gay, always up in a woman’s business. I don’t know a straight man that’s always worried about what women got going on!”
If women actually listened to men, they would understand that what we find to be fukkable and what we find to be wifeable are often two very different things.
And most men WILL prioritize a woman with wifely qualities over a woman who would be good for a quick nut.
I would MAYBE understand what you’re saying if you were saying that women without all of the extra cosmetics were struggling to find mates, but a lot of what you’re saying boils down to women wanting attention.
And what women need to understand is that not everything is for everybody. Men have to come to that conclusion very early in life.
Short men have to come to terms with the fact that, unless they can compensate for their height in other areas, they will not receive the same amount of attention from women that taller men will.
You won’t see me making excuses for men who get leg lengthening surgery because it’s dumb and dangerous.
And in response to the bolded, it was “influencers” and celebrities like the Kardashians, Paris Hilton, Nicki Minaj, etc. who popularized this plastic surgery/BBL culture we’re living in right now.
I remember when I was in high school (I graduated in 2015) plastic surgery and cosmetic procedures were considered “white people shyt”.
It wasn’t until the aforementioned women I just mentioned made it a “status symbol” to have these procedures done that women started getting them en masse.
Like others have stated, a lot of women do things to keep up with the trends and to compete with other women. Not to appeal to men.
