Man if you don't:camby::camby::camby:

What age was Malcolm when he gained consciousness while in prison?:jbhmm:

They are always getting into arguments with that kid. He's wrong about everything. He's a dumb kid who doesn't know shyt but talks like he does. Now that he's around grown folks who will put him in his place he'll hopefully learn and won't embarrass himself again.

Blame his parents.

yall just dont know what the word c00n is if you're calling someone who clearly doesn't have the proper understanding of the situation a c00n

We got brehs in the coliseum calling each other c00ns based on what teams they root for. I don't think the coli cares about what it means at this point.

I knew I shouldn't have watched this.

:snoop: I wanna keep supporting this

:snoop: But, did Corey just say he doesn't want to drive a wedge in between the races?

:snoop: Then says he can understand white people saying it, in certain contexts?

:snoop: Then say the word was used to hurt our feelings?

:snoop: And who raised that young breh?

I understand your point but for me, I can never be comfortable with somebody saying it. That's why I don't play multiplayer because I've personally been called that once in my life when I couldn't defend myself. I was 8 and three kids (one black, two white) walked into the restroom at school. One white kid said..
"Look at the little ****** peeing"..
They had to be at least 13-14(catholic school that went to junior high)..
I knew what that word meant and thank god my mom listen to me and got them expelled. I had a little white girl spit on me and I slapped the shyt out of her(8 at the time as well) and I was suspended for a week because of it.
So no, I will never be comfortable with any nonblack saying it.
I understand were the lil dude was coming from(for his age)because a lot of young black kids that are nerds, feel like outcast amongst our community, so in turn they gravitate towards the white crowd or live in all white neighborhoods. I went to a multicultural school but people knew not to cross certain lines(this was in the 90s). I still remember the day i beat the shyt out of some cac while playing MVC2 at the Gallerria in Houston.
He thought nothing was going to happen when he said it because it was a mixed crowd. But I pummeled the shyt out of him and it took three dudes to pull me a way. You know the sad thing was the three dudes who pulled me a way were brehs and said I was in the wrong for letting it get to me..
TF kinda spineless shyt is that.
And that's what is wrong with this whole scenerio(Maximillion Dood is another cac that said it was a "accident")..
Sorry I can't let shyt slide like that.
And for the first time ever since I subscribed, Sammy made a good point..
Les-Bi-Honest..
The videogame, comic book, anime, whatever geek shyt you are into, produces some of the most vile racist and bigots but they hide behind the nerd/geek/outcast moniker as a shield. The fans of some of these guys(even the poc) are so brain washed or don't have an idea of self that they immediately come out with Death Star shields to deflect.
That's why I loved Martin going in on young breh because obviously his parents are not teaching him.
Black kids find it acceptable because they don't know their history.
I use Emmit Till a lot as a reference point because (besides being called a ****** at 8) that story should hit home to every black male here in America.
That's when I truly learned the evils of the world and I descended into self awareness and pride. I came from the latch key kid era, so I didn't have that knowledge of self but the internet is too vast and information too easily accessible, plus since Donald Trump became Pres(even though racist were going hard before his election), no kid should feel this comfortable(especially black) defending this shyt.
But I feel my generation let these kids down because either we didn't know or were too scared to tell our children the real truth about racism and bigotry.
i feel ya but i was strictly talking about online play. It just comes with it. Like they said on the show the gamers (imo white gamers) are some of the most racist and sexist dudes on the planet. If u black they call u a ****** when u beat they ass. If u a woman they call u a whore or c*nt or bytch or all types of other shyt when u beat they ass. Thats just how cacs are. As a gamer its just something u deal with or expect. I've never had one say shyt when i beat they ass in a tournament tho and i nvr will. We all have been called that at some point. shyt, the first time i heard it my fukking teacher called me it when i was in 3rd grade cuz i was acting up. Didnt even fully understand what it meant back then but i knew it was something after i told my mom and that teacher almost got curb stomped. I'm just saying that as someone who has been playing online since i was like 15 someone saying that to me after i beat they ass doesnt phase me anymore because i know for a fact they want me hurt from it and i wont allow that. IRL they get the hands off top of course and i've ended friendships immediately with cacs that thought they were comfortable enough around me to say it. I'd be ip address hunting everyday if i let that shyt get to me like that :russ:...shyt tbh knowing i got a cac that mad from a videogame is fukking hilarious to me

I don't understand how this is surprising at this point. Korey has stated in the past 90% of his friends are white....his wife is white....the vast majority of the DT fan base is white....but people keep expecting him to take a hard stance on racial matters. It's never going to happen....not saying it's impossible for someone from that background to do it, but in this case it's obviously not going to, but people keep holding out for it. You're gonna be disappointed every time.

On an unrelated note, I'm still subscribed to DT but I ain't watched it for a minute. shyt fell off to be honest. The "IT" review was the first one I watched in a while and the constant corny jokes and laughing was annoying as hell. Maybe it's always been like that and I never noticed but earlier it seemed like just guys sitting around talking about pop culture and movies. It reminded me of me and my friends back in the day. Now it seems like they gotta cram 200 jokes and laughing along with it in every show. It's unnatural as hell.

True

I'm more forgiven than the average coli breh

He's never came off as an Uncle Tom

The way he addresses stuff just comes too much as sitting on the fence

It's not like he defended the devil...I just expect every one to atleast be like Martin; No, no, no excuse for this ESPECIALLY when you have a history

It's that BS; I understand in context that urked me :dahell: nikka you in Texas, that's as much Kill-A-Nigg*r central as Alabama or Mississippi (where my folk from)

I mean....it is what it is. I'm white and I'll say point blank he should've taken a hard stance....but he never does. I don't even expect it any more. When racial matters come up I'm pretty much like :yeshrug: because that's exactly what he does....he rides the fence. You gotta either charge it to the game at this point or unsubscribe....because it's not going to change.

And yeah he's from Texas but he's always been somewhat of a celebrity out there. Not saying he never dealt with racism but he can go to one of those DT gatherings and get love from random strangers....that alone insulates him from most of what your family would have to deal with, living in Texas.
