I enjoyed Doom last year. Can’t wait for the sequel. I hope there’s less jumping around. I don’t want to feel like I’m playing Mario again.
They're all saying there's more platforming this time.

I’m thinking about getting this game. I used to play Unreal Tournament back in the day and the engine seems similar except the focus on Doom is single player.

I just played the game myself, its not even that much jumping.

Even if it was that's fine, if it was just linear and just run n gun the entire time people would find a way to complain, so I don't mind them giving us variety

shyt is harder than 2016. I'm playing on Ultra-Violence and these mothafukkas are aggressive as fukk. You got to constantly be moving and stay accurate cause ammo is definitely alot more limited than in 2016 plus you got to use all your weapons and know the enemies weaknesses to get through this shyt. This was worth the wait.:wow:

Game is already way harder than the last game. This will be interesting.

It feels like they sacrificed some of the smoothness of the combat to make it harder. Graphics don't feel like they are much of an improvement either, but there feels like there's more "meat" :dame: to the environment, more interactivity.

So it doesn't feel like a pure upgrade to the last game, feels like theres additions and subtractions, rather than just additions. I'll play more than the first level later and maybe I'll think differently.

Damnnn... Art style is just leaps and bound better. Sadly, game environment is very static, but beautiful.

I might need to up the difficulty. I'm sitting pretty with 6 extra lives and not breaking a sweat. Going between chainsaw, flamer, and glory kill to replenish is seamless as fukk..
