So at best we getting the 10th pick (if we lose and somehow the Saints beat the Bucs in Tampa, lol) and worst the 14th (though maybe some of the tie breakers work in our favor and we end up a little higher even if we beat the Cards).
It's just as dumb to throw away All Pro talent for a prospect no one has any real clue if he can play at the NFL level. It's way more likely than a 1st round QB ends up a bust than a playoff starting caliber QB.
And we need to fix the OL first. Regardless of who plays QB for us, we need to protect him like the Lions do Goff. Before that, I don't wanna entertain no damn QB talk because whoever ends up the starter is gonna struggle like a motherfukker with the bums we have out there trying to protect him and trying to open up rushing lanes.

I have no idea what you see in Bryce Young breh. I never saw a damn thing with him in Alabame either. The only positive is he has 1 more year with a cheaper contract than Brock

This game was a microcosm of Purdy's career to this point. He played well for 3 quarters. He made some outstanding throws and plays with his legs.
He also threw two bad picks that make you go
So is he worth paying $60M a year? No.... but NFL GMs have been paying any QB with talent "max money" basically in basketball terms..
So he's getting paid by someone whether it's us or someone else. You really wanna draft someone? I don't. It's a crapshoot.

Yeah, that's where I've been with Brock since last season tbh.
I honestly can't believe old ass fans still fall for the illusion of the magic 1st round QB that somehow will work out just because your team drafted him.
