That's the thing, those positions don't have "solid vet players" on the cheap so you are asking for the impossible basically. We gotta get lucky via draft and even more lucky with 1 trade/F.A signing.

This is absolutely true, and I hate to be the cold bucket of water, and I came to the realization after going for a walk, Kyle isn't going anywhere and neither is Lynch. This is our team and brain trust for a while. We've committed too much money to go back on any of it.

This season might just be an L season and if they don't think they can get the wild card just sit CMC and Purdy. Get a higher draft pick because we're in the middle of the 1st right now aka no man's land. In another thread before the season started I felt like this was going to happen, @yseJ caught me, and now that we're here I'm at a point of acceptance.
