Defense went from top 3 scoring D and top 10 yards to outside of top 20 in points and outside top 15 in yards

Reading this, it really goes to show what you were talking about yesterday about our defense being too dependent on top talentour offense was being carried by two 7th round picks (QB, WR) and an UDFA RB

I think we need to make some changes. We need to get another runningback. Isaac Guerendo has horrible vision and is not a between the tackles runningback.
Also Jake Brendel looks cooked. We need to make a change there. Colton McKivitz needs to be benched.

Nah last week @JLova told us that Purdy was to blame for the Vikings L despite advanced metrics showing Purdy had a good game. He told me he doesn't care what the advanced stats say because he watched the game. I also watched the game, by the way.

All Purdy can do is throw the ball. He can't catch it too.
It's crazy Jauan Jennings was really doing all the work. Quite frankly I would promote him to WR1 his route running had improved considerably and at 6'3 215 he is a matchup nightmare.

By the way, if Purdy has a terrible game or even a terrible year I'd be the first to say it. I felt he could have played better in that Vikings game but was he the reason they lost? No.... I don't hold back on QBs. I went at Jimmy G all the time. I went at Alex Smith all the time. I can't stand it when a QB is playing like garbage.
For some reason people want the focus of this season to be on Purdy when the defense has been awful, special teams has been awful, Aiyuk hasn't done anything and we have a ton of injuries...

I'm actually impressed by how quickly he is able to get the ball out despite our offensive line bending over to even the most vanilla of pass rushes. His processor is elite. He made throws with 1.5 seconds to get the ball out of his hands at times.

And he's been great using his legs to extend plays and get someone open or use his legs to run for first downs. His throws on the run have been solid too.
I don't think there's much more I could have asked from him in this stretch. They should be 2-1 and it's crazy they aren't
