Yall talking about defense like Brunson, Luka, Kyrie, Murray, and Haliburton are good on that end :heh:

If he's available for a contender you make the deal. Figure out your wing D later lol.
All idiots on here talked about was Jokic's bad defense last year and how it was gonna cost the Nuggets in the playoffs and they blew right through that shyt for a fairly easy chip

This is an offensive era

Fit matters though, which is why Knicks have no interest. Two small ball dominant score first guards is a terrible pairing

It is an offensive era, but defense wins championships.

An underrated part of the Finals last year was the defense that the Nuggets were playing against Miami. They were inconsistent during the season, but flipped on the switch when they did.

The Pacers are going to eventually run into the same situation that Sacramento did when their offense losing steam and defense doesn't help make up for it.

I think the Cavs trade Mitchell for an even bigger horde than they spent to get him. They have just enough leeway and bird rights to get back a fair return

Lol Mitchell is obviously better than Beal. But that's not something to brag about cause Beal fukking sucks and one of those empty stat players.

Mitchell is a poorer version of Damian Lillard. Great in regular season, can win some crazy games in the playoffs, but non-existing defense makes it harder to become an actual championship contender.
Obviously the play styles are different but this reminds me of Steve Nash when he played in Dallas. Tony Parker, Bobby Jackson, Mike Bibby etc., used to give him fits because for all the good Nash provided on offense, he couldn't defend for shyt. Everyone thought they were crazy for letting him go but the team ended up being better long-term without him.
